In 1992 Nigel Joined Dickinson Dees as an Articled Clerk, qualifying in 1994 and becoming a Partner in 2002.  The firm is now known as Womble Bond Dickinson following its transatlantic combination in 2017.  Nigel is a Real Estate lawyer and led WBD's National Housing Team with a particular specialism in the Private Rented Sector. 

At the start of the pandemic Nigel became the Head of WBD's Newcastle office, the largest office of WBD consisting of 420 people.  As part of that role Nigel has led the office's relocation to a brand new office of 37,500 square feet on the Helix, Newcastle's Innovation Quarter.

Nigel has recently left Womble Bond Dickinson for a new role as General Counsel with The Gibson O'Neill Group based on Teesside.

Outside work Nigel is a season ticket holder at Middlesbrough FC and enjoys rugby coaching, golf, snowboarding and has competed 12 Great North Runs!
