Georgia Meyer

Georgia graduated with a first-class degree in Criminology with Psychology before earning a distinction in the GDL at BPP University.

Following her studies, she worked in legal operations at one of the Big Four accountancy firms in Belfast before relocating to the North East to join Hay & Kilner LLP as a paralegal. After securing a training contract, she completed the LPC at the University of Law on a full academic scholarship, achieving a distinction with a 90% average. Georgia then returned to Hay & Kilner to commence her training contract.

Georgia is currently in the final seat of her training contract in the family team at Hay & Kilner LLP and is set to qualify in September 2025.

Beyond academics, Georgia is passionate about making the legal profession more accessible. She has independently delivered presentations at local schools, inspiring the next generation to pursue careers in law and equipping them with knowledge on funding and accessibility opportunities.
