By becoming a member of the Employer Advisory Board, your firm can play a crucial role in shaping the future of legal education at Newcastle College. Your insights and expertise will help ensure our programmes remain aligned with industry needs and standards. Furthermore, your support will help us on our journey in the planning stages of the T Level in Legal Services Assistant Crime, Criminal Justice and Social Welfare, which we will start to deliver in September 2025.

• Work Experience: Offer placements that provide students with hands-on experience in a professional legal environment. 

• Industry Visits: Host educational visits to your offices or related institutions to give students a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the legal system. 

• Support with Assessments/Assessment Design: Assist in the development and evaluation of assessments to ensure they reflect real-world legal challenges and standards.

Innovative Law Courses at Newcastle College

Among these are the Level 3 Law and Criminal Justice Studies courses and the Foundation Degree in Criminology, Policing, and Criminal Law, delivered through Newcastle College University Centre.
