Blackfriars Cookery School, nestled within Blackfriars Restaurant, is the only independent purpose-built cookery venue in the North East.

The Cookery School hosts a range of over 300 annual events from cooking styles across the world including Curry and Spice, Vietnamese, Spanish Tapas, Thai, Chocolate making, French, bread making and Indian Street Food for beginners to more experienced chefs. The Cookery School also hosts lively cookery sessions, intimate Chef's tables, child-friendly workshops and the option to host private corporate team-building and private dining.
